FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

OfficeCalendar Announces Its First iOS App

OfficeCalendar Mobile for Apple® iOS allows customers to seamlessly share Microsoft® Outlook® calendars and contacts with colleagues while on the go

Carrollton, Texas, April 17, 2012 – Lookout Software, makers of OfficeCalendar, announces its first mobile application for iOS device owners. OfficeCalendar Mobile for iOS allows OfficeCalendar customers to wirelessly share and sync their Microsoft Outlook calendars and contacts with colleagues and coworkers across all iOS devices.

OfficeCalendar Mobile for iOS transforms any iPhone®, iPod Touch® or iPad® with iOS5 into a mobile office productivity tool by providing bi-directional wireless syncing between Outlook and OfficeCalendar Online for seamless sharing of Outlook Calendar and Contact folders.

Add new appointments to an Outlook calendar or new contacts to a Contacts folder, and have them sync wirelessly from your iPhone to OfficeCalendar Online and Outlook on your desktop and vice versa. With OfficeCalendar Mobile, iOS5 device owners are also able to view and edit all the OfficeCalendar shared calendars they have access to, so now users can see colleagues' calendars while out of the office.

“For years, OfficeCalendar has been providing a more affordable alternative to Microsoft Exchange for professionals who need to share their Outlook folders with others,” said Kevin Taggart, President of Lookout Software. “Our customers are using their mobile devices for business more than ever, and we knew it was time to offer a mobile application that gives them the ability to use OfficeCalendar while away from their computer.”

Some of the benefits that OfficeCalendar customers will see from using OfficeCalendar Mobile include:

  • Wirelessly sync calendar and contact entries from all devices to Outlook and OfficeCalendar Online
  • Users don’t have to worry about syncing their iPhone before leaving the office. Their Outlook data is already there, syncing in the background on their mobile device.
  • Coworkers and assistants can now see and edit schedules in Outlook, OfficeCalendar Online and on their Apple iOS devices.
  • Share colleagues’ calendars while on-the-go and out of the office. Any iOS5 device user running OfficeCalendar Mobile for iOS has access to all their OfficeCalendar shared calendars.

To use OfficeCalendar Mobile for iOS devices, a user must be an OfficeCalendar customer with active licenses and running iOS4 or above on their iPhone®, iPad® or iPod Touch® device.
